CATALINA
YTURRALDE
Catalina's journey is a testament to the transformative power of passion and the resilience needed to overcome challenges. Born in Colombia and raised in Venezuela, her early life was shaped by diverse cultural influences. Her story is one of determination, creativity, and a deep commitment to both personal and professional growth.
Catalina initially came to the USA to study English, but in 1999, she made a pivotal decision to follow her passion. She enrolled in the Art Institute, embarking on a new career path as an interior designer. This marked a significant shift from her previous role as a stockbroker assistant, showcasing her courage to embrace change and pursue her true calling.

After settling in Connecticut, Catalina completed her education and gained hands-on experience as an interior design assistant at Victoria Lyons Interiors. She further expanded her career by obtaining a real estate license, which opened new doors and allowed her to offer a broader range of services. This additional credential deepened her understanding of homes, various design styles, and her clients' preferences.
2014, Catalina experienced a significant shift when her family relocated to Houston, Texas. Embracing this new beginning, she dove into the local design scene. As a designer at RH Houston and later a senior designer at Design House, Catalina refined her skills and established a reputation for her innovative approach.

In 2019, Catalina reached a pivotal moment in her career by choosing to venture out on her own. Partnering with builders on spec house designs, she demonstrated her creative talent. The next year, despite the difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic, Catalina undertook her first minor renovation and full furnishing project. At the same time, she and her husband strategically acquired their first investment property, which Catalina skillfully renovated and sold successfully.
